Presentation of the BigDataGrapes project at the 2nd Athens Innovation Festival (AIF) 2018

The Athens Innovation Festival (AIF), the festival for innovation and entrepreneurship, was held for the second consecutive year at the Zappeion Megaron under the auspices of Mr. Prokopis Pavlopoulos, President of the Hellenic Republic. During November 12-14, Zappeion became the ultimate meeting point for businesses, startups and universities, private and public institutions. Exhibitors from the most emerging industries, from agri-food and health to e-commerce, participated in order to showcase the next big things. In particular, representatives from acclaimed businesses, investors, researchers, academics and government agencies participated in interactive discussions, workshops, parallel presentations and interviews. The three-day festival was devoted to innovation and technological developments.

Organizers of the festival was the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and the Athens Startup Business Incubator while conducted in cooperation with the Region of Attica, the Regional Development Fund of Attica, the Zappeion Megaron, having as their strategic partner the Industry Disruptors - Game Changers and the Hellenic Association of Amateur Athletics (SEGAS).

The Agricultural University of Athens participated through its Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer Office (InnovInAgri) at the 2nd (AIF) 2018, where the BigDataGrapes project was presented with the use of brochures.
